What We Believe
The Great Commission
It's a timeless message, really.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Statement of Faith is the foundation on which we build The Alliance. We dare to take Jesus at His word and incorporate our beliefs into daily living by:
-Taking our belief in a Supreme God to people trapped in false religions
-Sharing the love of Jesus with people in Waveland, Mississippi, who lost everything to Hurricane Katrina
-Believing God for safety while caring for people in Cambodia and Africa whose bodies are ravaged by HIV/AIDS
-Rescuing and redeeming young girls being sold into prostitution by families in need of food
What we believe is much more than a creed written on paper and passed down from one generation to another. It's action that manifests itself through the living Word of God written on the hearts of willing servants in local communities throughout the nation and the world.
This is the call that we in The Alliance believe and are living together.
As an alliance of Great Commission Christians, we are called to take the whole gospel to the whole world.
With that in mind, we contribute our time and finances to the work of Jesus Christ through our local Alliance church.
By giving to the Great Commission Fund, we are taking Christ's message of hope and love to our neighbors and the nations. For more information on the Great Commission Fund, log on to cmalliance.org/give
We believe God is at work in each of His children. We also believe He has gifted us to live the call together.
Prayerfully consider what God would have you do to help complete His Great Commission and bring back the King.

(29) The local church is a Body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God; for edification through the Word of God; for prayer, fellowship, and the proclamation of the gospel; and for the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
